I am an Ontario resident and I oppose this bill. We should be responsible to protect what is left of our earth's natural ecosystems. Without them we will all be dead, so what's the point in making more money? Stop this bill. Read more

I strongly oppose Bill 5. This is not getting the media attention it deserves, because if more of the public were aware they would be strongly against it. This will create unfair industry short cuts, all while putting endangered species and the environment at risk. Read more

I strongly oppose Bill 5. Decimating environments at the benefit of short industry gains will cost us more in the long run, both economically and ecologically. There needs to be stronger key environmental protections for endangered species and species at other levels of risk. Read more

I strongly oppose Bill 5! Protecting our land and endangered species is far more important than finding cheap cuts to grow industry. Regulations protecting the environment are there to uphold and force creative solutions to industry. Read more

Ontario's Endangered Species Act must remain as law. The proposed new act is too weak to be effective. This proposed legislation does not protect species at risk or their habitats. It also does not protect common species and the landscape required for their survival.
