Bill 5. Houses are needed yes but not at expense of our protected wildlife and lands. It's getting insane. Do your due diligence Mr . Ford. Don't talk tough against Trump then turn around and be exactly like him. I oppose this bill5 vigorously!

I find the repealing of the Endangered Species Act egregious. You are narrowing the definition of habitat making it as small as a den or nest and the immediate root system of plants, which is far less than needed to survive. Read more

Without a healthy environment with the appropriate protection for that environment and the animals living within it, there will be no future economic growth. We need to ensure species are protected AND economic growth work together. Read more

This is a flagrant violation of environmental law and Indigenous rights. It is not for the government to decide where laws should be followed - environmental laws must be upheld throughout Ontario. This is a gross overstep by the provincial government. Read more

I oppose bill 5. Species at risk in Ontario need enhanced protections, not less. Allowing the government to remove species from the list is a terrible idea and makes it a partisan list, not based on research and science. Read more
