I believe these changes will open the door to bad actors taking advantage of Canada's precious enrivonment, which is already eroded by low-density sprawling urban development (and the number of people isn't going to decrease). Read more

I am against this bill. This bill is irresponsible to our land. In a time when we are seeing more and more species becoming endangered or disappearing we need more government protection of the land that they need, not less. Read more

I am vehemently opposed to the changes proposed. The description of habitat is far too narrow. The proposed changes make it sound like the preservation of vulnerable species and undisturbed habitats will take a backburner to development projects. Read more

In essence you want a short cut for developers to override what they consider an obstacle. Already many species are at risk and you and the developers are focused on profit and speed, not conservation. Read more

I am vehemently opposed to Bill 5 being passed. We are already not doing enough to protect our wildlife and our wild spaces. I want my kids to be able to have plenty of green spaces and to see all of the animals they can. Animals are a huge part of why I am alive today. Read more
