Please, please protect the environment at all costs. Too much of Ontario is already a wasteland of monster homes that only the wealthy can afford. Concentrate development and build sustainable and affordable housing. Protect the natural world. Our lives depend on it. Stop this bill.

This whole proposal does not care about the protection of species at risk. Discontinuing the requirement of waiting for a permit to be issued for activities that COULD result in harm to at risk species is ridiculous. Registration is not enough.

I applaud the Ford government for taking steps to address housing and development issues. However, making changes to the Endangered Species act is not the way to do this.
