Yes we need more housing but there are places that are under used. Control things like air b & b and corporate ownership, increase population density, there are unused lots & commercial properties. We can do this without sprawl or depriving ourselves of green space.

Bill five weakens the mandate of conservation authorities limits public consultation and increases risks to wetlands, force and watersheds at a time when biodiversity loss and climate resilience are urgent. Priorities we should be strengthening not dismantling Ontario’s environmental safeguards.

I oppose Bill 5 because it weakens protections for endangered species in Ontario. Letting developers pay instead of protecting habitats is wrong. We need stronger laws to protect wildlife, not weaker ones. Please protect our environment and stop this bill.

No. I completely oppose Bill 5. The government of Ontario should not have the power to alter the endangered species list without expert consultation. This list needs to be determined by which species are endangered, not by which projects are inconvenienced by endangered species.
