To whom it may concern. Bill 5 will allow the government to ride "roughshod" any objections from the public, remember the "Green Belt"? Luckily that fell through. I do not know of any politician that is qualified to say what species are in danger or not, so, this bill should not go through.

I strongly oppose Bill 5. I am calling on the Ontario government to uphold their responsibilities in accordance with SARA to protect species at risk and their critical habitat. Shortcuts for industry without public consultation are unacceptable.
This is absolutely abhorrent. Stop putting aside the health and longevity of our entire ecosystem, flora and fauna both, for a quick buck. It is deplorable to think it would be acceptable to accelerate and facilitate industry shortcuts to benefit a very select few.
