This is completely unacceptable! We don’t get species back when they are destroyed. The web of life, that we rely upon, depends on biodiversity. Any 7th grader can tell you this is the worst decision any government can make! Homes are meaningless if we have an ecological collapse.

I oppose bill 5. I want stronger environmental protections and the protection of endangered species. I oppose shortcuts for industry. I oppose overriding the law in special economic zones.
I do not support Bill 5. I support saving our green spaces. Businesses should not get to fast track development at the expense of our environment. Proper vetting and consultation needs to be followed before any destruction of green spaces for corporate profit.
I am a former employee of the Ministry of the Environment, Parks and Conservation. I was a Provincial Officer for over 25 years. I was employed during the time frame of the Conservative Government downloading the Endangered Species Act onto MOE from MNR.
