I oppose Bill 5. I have concerns about weakened environmental protections during a climate crisis and unprecedented species loss. I do not agree with the creation of zones where laws that protect workers and Indigenous communities may be disregarded with limited public oversight. Read more

I oppose this proposal. My preference is to keep the program as is. Allowing organizations to begin after registration is a dangerous landslide that could make enforcement after the fact challenging.

I oppose Bill 5. I want strong environmental protections. I oppose short cuts for industry. Using the housing shortage as a reason to degrade the environment and enrich developers is unethical and does not serve the people of Ontario for which the government was elected. Do your job. Read more

As a lifetime Ontario resident I don’t support a Bill that lessens environmental protections. I don’t support Bill 5, I don’t think government should be able to more freely develop areas that should be protected. Read more

Our remaining passes of protected lands and the endangered species living here need to be protected, I vote and speak against any changes to the endangered species act that will put our land and creatures at risk. Protect our lands!
