I do not support the repeal of the endangered species act. THIS LEGISLATION IS LIMIRING FOR A REASON, THE PROTECTION KF THE ENVIRONMENT. Appealing it because someone wants to sprawl put rather than up is unconscionable.

I am extremely against developing where there are endangered species. Bill 5 is absolutely a betrayal to the Ontario people, and putting personal profit (or friends profits) over ecosystems, living creatures and the environment is disgusting. Read more

I strongly oppose the proposed interim changes to the Endangered Species Act, 2007 and the introduction of the Species Conservation Act, 2025. These changes appear to weaken protections for at-risk species and prioritize development and industry interests over ecological responsibility. Read more

I strongly oppose Bill 5. Ontario needs stronger environmental protections, not weaker ones. We are already sacrificing too many vulnerable ecosystems to the interests of Big Industry. This Bill would abandon Ontario’s commitment to protecting species and ensuring their recovery. Read more

The government claims to protect species, but it clearly is not serious in its efforts. The proposals will be harmful to wildlife of all types and particularly to those at risk. Read more

This is an absolutely horrifying possible change. We would be sacrificing the environment and not listening to indigenous voices for the sake of faster construction. I understand we are overpopulated, but I am not willing to destroy our province in the hopes of relieving that. Read more
