I oppose Bill 5. No one, least of all the government, should be able to ignore the laws of the land whenever it seems convenient. If Bill 5 is passed, it will spell the end of democracy in our province. It will tell everyone that our laws mean nothing. Read more

I am writing to appose bill 5. This bill will hurt the wildlife in Ontario and doesn’t not put form strict measures for recovery plans, permits or safety of species. No to bill 5.

I oppose this bill completely. Bill 5 guts environmental protections, ignores Indigenous rights, and strips away public oversight. Ontario deserves better—development shouldn’t come at the cost of democracy and ecosystems. Read more

Ontario’s biodiversity is one of our greatest strengths. Do not allow big developers to bulldoze sensitive ecosystems to build mansions for the rich. Do not do away with independent scientific involvement in development plans. Read more

These changes to the endangered species act are terrible. In a time where we should be investing MORE to protect the animals and environment, this goes directly against green initiatives and species protection. Read more
