I oppose Bill 5. The government has a responsibility to uphold environmental regulations; ideally, I want those regulations to be stricter with more protection for our green spaces. I want a bipartisan oversight committees to decide what corporations can and can’t do to the environment.

I opppose Bill 5. I OPPOSE SHORTCUTS FOR INDUSTRY!!! I want strong environmental protections. Quite frankly I’m tired of this government’s lack of concern for the needs of this province and forgoing everything in the name of big business. Enough is enough is enough.

No- I am opposed to bill 5. We need stronger environmental protections. This bill is not protecting anything...just making it easier to line developers pockets. I'm saying no to bill 5. This is not the United States...this is canada where we protect our environment.

Hearing about bill 5 is astounding. I vehemently oppose bill 5. Canada is set apart from the states for a few reason and the importance of green belt zones and our respect to the environment is one of those defining reasons. Read more

What a terrible proposal. Ontario's natural beauty should be protected and cherished. There are ways to build while protecting our environment. The government should be leading the production of our land, not destroying it for profit.
