While I’m all for new housing developments, especially when it comes to affordable housing, sacrificing our already fragile environment is not the answer. There should be a way to do both.

Strongly oppose Bill 5 There needs to be MORE protections for the Environment & Wildlife in Canada that makes us beautifully diverse. Short cuts for industry are not the way to make Canada strong. It actually makes us look weaker and to be taken advantage of. Read more

I oppose bill 5 for several reasons. The endangered species act shouldn't be ignored just to cut red tape or speed up projects. Companies shouldn't get to ignore environmental protections for the sake of expediency. Read more

I am an Ontarian and I oppose Bill 5. We need our environment to stay in balance and that requires consideration for the environment, endangered species, species at risk, and all species to keep Ontario in balance. Cutting corners for development will only benefit a few. Read more
