This bill is absurd. The environment must be protected from human activity. We are destroying the Earth. Allowing politicians a carte blanche to ignore environmental laws in favour of "economic activity" is a recipe for disaster.

I am currently in grade 12, and I am appalled at the Ontario government’s environmental actions. First it was the greenbelt, now it’s this. I don’t care if it’s making you money Doug Ford, you do not get to sell our province. I used to be proud to live in Ontario, now I’m just scared.

It seems like the ministry of the environment, CONSERVATION, and parks, doesn't want to do much conserving. Environmental protections are vitally important and species at risk are at risk because of human interference in their habitats.

We must protect our endangered species even if that means delays and boundaries. They are innocent beings that deserve a safe home just as much as one of us. This is a dangerous plan that will no doubt lead to wanton destruction of habitats and potentially species, that call this land home too.
