We cannot change the endangered species act to relax regulations. Instead - at a time when the US is relaxing their regulations, this is when we need to make them more stringent. The fate of so many species hangs in.m the balance and generally once a species is killed off they are gone forever. Read more

As a member of the Owen Sound Field Naturalists, I am concerned about the changes to the ESA. We are home to many, many of Ontario's endangered species such as 9 species of wild orchids, 9 species of ferns, and many birds, mammals and sensitive habitat. Read more

As a lifelong resident of Ontario, I am extremely opposed to this act. I have had the opportunity to travel across the province and experienced the beautiful nature and wildlife, and knowing that the government wants to have the ability to destroy our beautiful habitat, makes me sick. Read more
