Bill 5 is a misguided attempt to confine nature to the smallest possible area, allowing unchecked development everywhere else. This puts endangered species on a path to extinction, and humans as well. We depend on pollinators for our food. We depend on trees to maintain healthy water cycles. Read more

I am totally against this proposal! We need to keep this law in order to protect vulnerable species. If the government of Ontario passes Bill 5, we can say, "Good bye forever," to much of the natural world. Read more

Any bill that that removes protections for endangered animals puts them at more risk. If this endangers nature it endangers us. you are not looking at the future you are looking at the present. Read more

This act is a fraud, trying to claim that it widens protections and is going to “improve upon the Species at Risk Stewardship Program” while not having a replacement program created or ready to enact. Read more
