This proposal is incredibly short-sighted. We elect governments to think about the good of our communities, provinces, and country, both now and into the future. Dear Premier Ford, I support preserving forests, wetlands & farm land and the species that live in those environments. I do not support repealing the Endangered Species Act which is short sighted and without any scientific merit. Read more

I have been proud as an Ontarian to have the Endangered Species act, though it's not perfect, it is good. I have personally worked at construction sites and projects that risk the lives of endangered species and saw how these projects can be done well. Read more

Do not pass bill 5. It is destructive to the environment and only benefits wealthy developers. Indigenous people should be allowed keep their land and the government should respect public land.

This is heartbreaking. Please do not sacrifice our beautiful wildlife and environement for profit. It is not worth the destruction of habitat and natural beauty we have to offer. So so so sad that this is even an option after years of conservation efforts.

I feel like if you step back and think about how you are prioritizing the economy over many species, you will realize this bill is wrong. To pass this bill would be morally wrong in so many ways, I cannot convince you but all I ask if that you think about the harm it will do.
