Development needs to be done with environmental and conservation in mind. The Ford government needs to stop the urban sprawl. We need to protect our native species, the watershed AND in turn our green spaces and the environment as a whole. Read more

The gutting of the ESA will have devastating results for Ontario’s species at risk. I am deeply afraid of what this would mean for the species that I have spent years working with and restoring to their natural habitat. We need to move in the direction of more protection, not less. Read more

I am deeply disturbed by this proposed Bill. It undermines the integrity of wildlife and nature protection. Any development must always follow due process. There is no proof that any development has been delayed by the current process of waiting for Ministry approval. Read more

Hi, I've only recently learned about this bill and as a citizen of Ontario, I'm very concerned about the impact of this bill. In particular, I completely disagree with the removal of the Endangered Species Act (ESA) and replacing it with the Species Conservation Act which is completely voluntary. Read more
