This is a really terrible idea, and we don't want it to pass. Cancel the proposals under Bill 60, this is top-down, way too much provincial interference in municipal transportation matters. Read more

No, this is a bad idea. Please don't pass this. We don't want it. I don't want the tax burden of having to always build cycling infrastructure in the boulevard, it's going to take forever and be so expensive. We want quick build infrastructure to making cycling safe and enjoyable. Read more

Cancel this. Do not pass it. Do not support it. It's completely backwards and taking the province in the wrong direction. There are 10,000 reasons to build for safe and enjoyable cycling and you're making that impossible, more expensive and taking way longer. Please just stop.

The Regional Municipality of Waterloo supports continuing its practice of utilizing OPSS.MUNI and OPSD standards as much as possible, amending only where required for specific flatwork, watermain, storm sewer or sanitary sewer works for design, construction or O&M intent/purpose/need. Read more

This proposal is shortsighted and hostile to alternative forms of transportation that would go much further toward reducing delays and congestion, (such as bike lanes). I do not support its adoption.
