With respect to ERO #025-1257, I am in agreement with the HCA's submission to the ERO. I am an annual donor to the HCA because I lived in the community and support keeping conversation decisions local to the area near and dear to my heart. Read more

I agree with HCA’s submission to the ERO. I am concerned about losing local decision-making and I support keeping conservation decisions rooted in our community The current conservation authority is effect as is. There is no need for an expensive, unnecessary change. Read more

Local service delivery is critical to maintaining on the ground services to builders, developers and residents. The creation of a huge regional conservation authority will not only decrease accountability but increase bureaucracy, costs and timelines for local communities. Read more

I do not support this proposal. Local voices matter, unlike what the current government believes. The current conservation authorities are working fine, and shortcoming come from the provincial government being cheap and refusing to give proper funding. Read more

Re proposed consolidation of Ontario’s conservation authorities. We currently have a government with an alarming track record of ignoring sensitive environmental areas and rewarding developers and cronies of the leader of the Conservative government with this land to develop. Read more

Having reviewed this proposal, I do not support merging the Conservation Authorities (CA). Each area is unique and requires local input on management. The Hamilton CA, my local CA and I have a yearly membership, does an excellent job in managing the resources it has. Read more
