Any changes that remove requirements or support for municipalities to build their cities in an environmentally sensitive approach is a step backwards and should be resisted. When will this archaic provincial government wake up to fact that we are living on an environmental precipice?
As a representative of a significant fraction of knowledgable citizens in an upper tier municipality, the changes described do not benefit the citizens of Ontario. They benefit only the developer. Climate change is the reality we are all living.
