The Council of the Municipality of Trent Hills would like to indicate that it has concerns with the placement of the septic field in a location in close proximity to the Trent River.

The proposal should not be approved. The development/construction of the sewage system is not consistent with the Provincial Policy Statement Section 2.1, 2.1.1,2.1.4a,2.1.7,2.1.8,and Section 3.0 Protecting Public Health and Safety,3.1 Natural Hazards,3.1.1b,3.1.2c and d.

Regarding: Proponent: 604840 Ontario Inc.

1). I object to the proposed location of the new tile bed; That location floods each spring and is adjacent to the river and an inland canal, which drains into the river. Building up the tile bed in that location will produce significant changes in the existing drainage pattern.

I would like to comment on the proposal to construct the sewage treatment facility on the property of Island Park RV Park. In my reading of the plan, It suggests the ballpark area as the suggested location. I cannot think of a worse possible location.
