I would like to oppose of all what's being proposed. These proposals, for ex. to reduce park space requirements, will make for sad neighbourhoods and lead to marginalization and an increase in health issues due to lack of exposure to nature and the ecosystem services that parklands provides. I am writing to express my concerns regarding Bill 23. Not only does it make wide-sweeping changes to Ontario's planning system, it may have unintended consequences and I feel it does not help to address the issues relating to housing that we are facing as a Province. Lire davantage

I am concerned about the elimination or reduction of development charges for commercial developers. The loss of DC funding will have a severe impact on municipalities’ ability to pay for critical infrastructure and will shift the burden from developers to taxpayers.

Strongly disagree with the anti-democratic and anti-environmental implications of these 'proposed amendments' - especially as related to Bill 23. The proposal carves 7,400 acres out of the Greenbelt for development - with an unfounded excuse that these lands are need for housing. Lire davantage

There are doubtless some positive elements to this proposal but the restriction of right of appeal to a limited class of “specified persons” in my view, abrogates the rights of residents who may have made appropriate submissions in the proscribed manner, to the Ontario Land Tribunal, but will now be Lire davantage

I am against this bill ( bill 25 ) especially the part that takes away the small landlord’s right to raise rent on new leases .Rent increases should be governed by the market not the government. Lire davantage

I do not support many changes to the Development Act. Growth must pay for growth. How will the government ensure that any cost savings to developers will actually reduce home costs, or if the developer will take an increased profit. Lire davantage
