While I support more housing construction, I am vehemently opposed to changes to the Greenbelt plan that would create more suburban and exurban sprawl, something that we absolutely cannot afford anymore. I strongly oppose this legislation. It does nothing to provide affordable housing but does, instead, open the door for devastating harm to wetlands, agricultural land and more. This is a shocking move on the part of the government and I am, again, simply disgusted.
