I disagree with the decision to remove any land from the Greenbelt. As the government's own housing task force states, there is sufficient land in the Golden Horseshoe already. No need to touch the Greenbelt. The Greenbelt was supposed to be permanently protected. Lire davantage

Erosion of the Greenbelt for the sole purpose of lining the pockets of developers, is not only irresponsible, it is putting the future of our children's lives at risk. Our food production, housing costs, and ability to counteract image change. Lire davantage

I am extremely angry that protected lands can be deemed unprotected just because a government sees an opportunity to make money. Opening the Greenbelt is the worst idea to solve pur housing crisis. Please don't do this. The area is so important to wetlands, animals, and the environmental sustainability of Ontario's future. We are risking our future so a few developers can make a lot of money and it is not right. Lire davantage

We do not need more unaffordable housing, suburban sprawl style. We need affordable housing *in* the cities: in Toronto, Mississauga, Oakville, etc. Lire davantage

The Greenbelt needs to be left alone, as well as wetlands. It also needs to be looked into regarding developers buying land in the Greenbelt before this goes through…screams corruption. Keep your promises Doug!!! Lire davantage

Wiping out prime agricultural and wetland is bad enough. The fact that said land was recently bought by prominent backers of Doug Ford's conservatives before the announcement smells of corruption at the highest level and it should be looked into by the Police. Lire davantage
