We own a small processing plant and with a dump being that close to town, there will be more rodents and pests that will need to be addressed. We have an abattoir and hour hygenic slaughter will be in jeopardy with this dump so close.

I am supportive of the idea for a waste processing/regenerative facility. The province of Ontario, as well as small and large municiplalities, do need to address the issue of construction waste. This waste could be from new home construction, renovations or site demolitions.

I feel that this is threat to our area. All the endangered species are at risk , along with our precious creeks and rivers . Our roadways cannot handle the volume.
We don't want this dump in our small town. There will be an environmental impact to our water ways and water wells surrounding this dump. The original use case for the first small property that had the dump permits was not meant to be expanded the way york 1 is proposing.
Do not feel that the site chosen by York 1 is appropriate for the type of industry they plan ...trucks 24/7 on roads not built for the type of wear that will occur 1 km N of Dresden.

I am very concerned about the consequences of allowing this facility to open. It is much too close to a major river system and no mater how much mitigation is implemented there will be unintended incidents that could be detrimental to species (plant and animal) that reside in the area.

This has been done in an underhanded manner from the start. Clearly York1 is doing everything possible to avoid undertaking a proper environmental assessment for this project. Please apply 2024 standards to a 2024 plan. York1 has proven they cannot be trusted and will not be "good neighbours".

I live in the town of Dresden, and my house is 1.2 kms for this proposed land fill site. As I read thru the application for expansion I have some concerns on some of the things they are applying for.

I have been a Dresden resident all my life, and very much oppose this proposed landfill/recycling facility. This proposal is taking advantage of a dormant, no longer used dump with a permit granted almost 45 years ago.

The community of Dresden is against this dump as it is going to ruin our waterways that our community fishes in, kyacks in, canoes in and as well use our boats in. It will make our town smell and ruin our tourist attractions such as our night markets that bring hundreds of people from all over.

Regarding your proposal it is unfair and immoral to advance your aims. You are trying to do an end around on local politicians through you high up contacts at Queens Park. There is a food processing plant very close to the site that will be affected. Do you know this?

As a condition imposed on York 1 , York 1 must be accountable to be held responsible for monitoring PFAS on site and it's treatment. The material York 1 wants to landfill and recycle at the Dresden site will contain PFAS.

I live in Dresden and I am very concerned about the York 1 proposal. The location is so close to houses and the town. The extra traffic that will be coming 24/7 is not good for the area. There are two schools on the route to the dump if the traffic goes. through town.

I’m a farmer located directly east of this proposed site. If I was to build a livestock facility I would have to have a nutrient management plan that is to be updated every five years or whenever you make a change to your operation.
