A landfill of this size and scope only 1km any from a rural farming town is like Dresden wrong on so many levels. They are going to destroy our air quality, water table and property values across the entire town.

This garbage dump would be detrimental to our community. The dump would cause non-stop traffic through Dresden, especially during tomato season. The noise and traffic would affect the wildlife. The dump would cause people to want to leave Dresden and new homes would be harder to sell.

I attended the York meeting in the town of Dresden and i am a resident of this town . York would not answer a lot of question about safety for our town and water ways runner through the town.

As a longtime resident of Dresden, someone who grew up in this tiny rural town fishing and playing in the fields and rivers. Dresden is known to be a quiet and a peaceful place, home to many families that have grown up here their whole lives.

This site is far too close to our town (only 1km instead of the required 3.5km) and that is very concerning since both the highschool, many homes and the river will be right there.

We live not even 3kms from the proposed location. Myself and two young children. We live beside the Sydenham river and across from Canadian Geese breeding grounds/ pathway during migration.

My concerns are health concerns for myself, kids and grandkids who already suffer from breathing issues. Plus I think a recycling/dump is to be 3.3km from town limits which this is not. Please go elsewhere.
I live along the banks of the east branch of the Sydenham River. I know about its biodiversity, it’s rare and endangered species and the ecological value it has in this Carolinian Zone. This proposed dump site WILL have a devastating impact to this river.

I live about 1km. from the proposed site and I would like to continue having get togethers with family and friends without the smell of rotting garbage blowing in my face while bbqing or eating in my backyard. No landfill here we don't want Ontarios garbage.
