Moving Nancy Island to the Ministry of Tourism is an excellent idea. Thank you for recommending it.

Please, please reconsider the moving of Wasaga Beaches 1 and 2, New Wasaga Beach and Allenwood beaches to Municipal ownership because:
- Hurting the quality of life for the residence of Wasaga Beach, the people of Ontario and tourists
- The Municipality will have the power to sell the land to developers, no longer a true public beach
- delay the decision/transfer until the construction around Beaches 1 and 2 are complete. You will
see if it is truly going to help Ontario
-very little parking for the tourist we say we want to bring in
-may end up charging to walk on the beach like Chrystal Beach
-development is required however it has to be controlled & not sure the municipality can do that
- The Piping Plover bird presently nests along our shoreline. Without the Ministry of Environment,
who will protect them. The beach will no longer be a main focus to the Ministry and won't have the
time or budget to keep a close eye as has happens in other areas
- Presently a naturally beautiful beach, miles of nature sand bars, the only one in the world. The
municipality (not the residence) wants to build a marina
-spend taxpayer funds to dredge the natural sandbars yearly for the marina
- lose the public beach we love
-consider helping to expand or add to the marinas on the river. Still close proximity to the beach
- Please do not destroy our natural beautiful treasure
- Strong supporters of the Doug Ford team. Not sure they would do this if they have all the info

- Decision already made yet comments accepted until August 11, 2025???? Last months newspaper showed pictures of the equipment the municipality has purchased to maintain the beaches????
