I think consolidating the Conservancy areas is a great idea. Most of the boards are on big power trips and stop development. I just hope that the front line employees don't lose their jobs. That would be too bad. But the boards of directors need to be taken down a peg or two or many more. They are power hungry. Our local conservancy board has ruled with an iron fist for way too long. And the current chair of the board is a real piece of work. It's all about her, not the environment. Get rid of the board members, but not the employees, especially not the front line employees.
