This proposed site is under 3 kms from a flourishing Town. The town is filled with many young children. The environmental study is crucial. The Town is surrounded by waterways that this landfill can impact negatively or worse contaminate. Lire davantage

You must do an environmental assessment on the proposed dump site in Dresden Ontario. This is imperative to the community's health and safety. Having a dumping ground near school and residential is UNACCEPTABLE regardless of any reasons. A dumping ground should be not impacted by tariff. LANDFILLS should be far away from the city where people and kids can live a healthy lives. NO dumping ground in Dresden.

The concept for the recycling is not my complaint. We need to do more to protect the environment. I have seen the construction materials that are dumped at the Ridge Landfill in Chatham-Kent and if a recycling centre could divert that waste it’s a good thing. Lire davantage

My husband and myself oppose the Dresden landfill and hope an environmental assessment will take place, our community is a farming community and we feel it will make a unhealthy environment for crops, water tables, and most importantly out children. Again we oppose this landfill.

The people of Dresden do not support this initiative. Perhaps the leaders of our Province could immediately take steps to reduce waste in our Province rather than continually chasing it down the road to the USA or new landfill locations. Lire davantage

I live in Dresden and do not want the proposed dump right outside my town. I worry for the future of my children and grandchildren who go to the schools in Dresden and spend so much time biking around town and fishing in our river

There is legislation to not build landfills 5km from a town. This is less then 1km. The health risks are too great. Complete violation.
