I think it’s absolutely ridiculous that York1 can submit this proposal to beat around the bush and not complete a comprehensive environmental assessment. I am very concerned to hear there will be no environmental assessment by Dresden to approve a landfill outside of town and right by a creek and river. A landfill this close to waterways is obviously not a good idea. Lire davantage

An environment assessmen should be mandatory when we're dealing with waste of any type. There are rivers close by and houses that use water wells for drinking water. The citizens of Chatham-Kent do NOT want this. Listen to their voices. Stop making decisions in Toronto without even coming to the site to see the impact it would have on those around the site. Find another location!
