As an Ontario voter proper regulation and species protection is important to me. We need balance and after what happened with the greenbelt I do not trust this government to do the right thing for the future of Ontario's important species and biodiversity.

This is a disastrous removal of process by the provincial government. There are plenty of places for development without resorting to this kind of legislation. Ontario is not a dictatorship, and should not be for sale to whoever can get their hands on a piece of property. Lire davantage

Bill 5 is not the answer to tariffs. Instead, Bill 5 will make the lives of many people more precarious and will contribute to climate catastrophe. Bill 5 will also trample on Indigenous Sovereignties. This bill will only benefit rich people. It will make Ontario more unequal. I opposed Bill 5.

The protected and endangered species of Ontario are already suffering from a lack of protection and support from the majority of their human kin. Taking away the few protections they have will surely decimate the few remaining populations of integral species to these lands. Lire davantage
