Keep conservation decisions in the community. Provincial consolidation will weaken the voices in community conservation and just add another layer of bureaucracy. We’ve already seen what the Ford government tried to do with the Greenbelt.

I support the HCA’s position, and oppose consolidation of regional conservation areas. I have enjoyed the Hamilton conservation area for over 30 years and feel the HCA does a fantastic job maintaining those lands.

I am not in favour of this realignment of boundaries for Conservation Authorities. The Government of Ontario has not convinced me there is justification to make this move.
