The proposed amendments put Ontario's heritage, especially Indigenous heritage, at serious risk of being destroyed, damaged, lost and dismissed. Legislation requiring archaeological assessments prior to development is critical to protecting our heritage. Read more

This proposal neglects the competent workers that are able to identify meaningful Indigenous and historical, culturally significant burial grounds and sites. We must engage in acts of reconciliation and relationship with the First Nations. This proposal rejects that notion. Please reconsider. Read more
