Keep your hands off our Provincial Parks! They are sanctuaries for many animals and plants. They are also the only places many can afford to spend time in nature. Hands off!!! We need more protection of nature, not development. Read more

Doug Ford should leave Wasaga Beach alone. This is an enjoyment from people all over Ontario. He should actually go up there and stay a week or two to see how people share this town including ALL THE BEACH SHORE. Too much development causes too many problems for a small town. Read more

Our national parks are not for sale. This is a power pull to make money off of land we all cherish and our endangered species need to survive. Im not a political person but this has gone too far. It's called protected for a reason.

As a visitor to Wasaga Beach, I have had a chance to observe our beautiful Piping Plovers and their babies. I am asking that the Ontario Government ensures that these birds and their nesting areas are conserved and protected by a science-based management plan and resources that: Read more

I think this is a terrible idea that should not come to fruition. It will prove detrimental to ecosystems and multiple species. I truly hope logic prevails over potential extinction for profit. Read more

Provincial park land should not be transfered or sold to prop up surrounding economy or cover budget short falls. Find another solution without stripping park area from future generations.

I believe the government should leave our provincial parks untouched and prioritize the environment, ecology, and habitats of endangered species in these areas. I urge you to reconsider, and prioritize the environment over development.

This is completely inappropriate. This is public land. It should be voted on by the people of Ontario and not our elected officials. Read more

Please do not sell off the land! Wasaga beach and all provincial parks are so much more important to the hundreds of thousands who visit and make memories there. Leave the beach for all to enjoy. Conserve our beautiful natural land. Take care of the ecosystems there. Read more

Doug Ford needs to keep his hands off of our provincial parks. The only people benefitting from taking away pieces of these lands are Doug Ford and rich people who don't care about the demise of our planet. Every plant, every animal, every insect, etc. Read more

Please reconsider this proposal. Wasaga Beach provides crucial habitat for the Piping Plovers, which is a species considered at risk. Allowing the municipal government more control over this region puts these shore birds and other native species at risk to habitat loss. Read more
