Why would we be decreasing the amount of land in a park. We should only be increasing the amount of protected park land since if you haven't noticed with all the wild fires the environment is under attack.

I do not support this proposal, mainly because I lack trust in the Ontario government to be entrusted with the protection and conservation of land. We need more provincial park land, not less. We need to protect ecosystems and species that live here, not bulldoze them.

The Wasaga Beach Provincial Park must remain under the jurisdiction of Conservation and Parks so the area can continue to be protected. The Ministry of Tourism’s only interest will be financial jeopardizing the natural environment, opening it to development and ruin. Read more
