Every proposal that makes it easier for developers to take what belongs to the people of Ontario is just plain evil. Keep your money grubbing hands off our resources. It is still unbelievable to me that Therme stole our Ontario Place and etcetera.

Absolutely not. Our provincial parks must be protected at all costs. This is not the development that Ontario needs. Ontario needs to protect these places as they draw millions to come and see our beautiful nature. Read more

I object to any part of Wasaga Beach being sold Partial sell offs result in less land being available to public citizens and expose those lands to development, environmental damage and destruction. Read more

I’m writing to demand you withdraw your dangerous proposal to sell off sections of Wasaga Beach Provincial Park, which includes vital nesting habitat for the endangered Piping Plover. Read more

I strongly oppose this change. The area proposed for development is critical habitat for the piping plover.

Are we sure we want to set a precedent to give away well used and loved parkland and trails for town development? There is so much to develop in this region - taking away a well used park and trail area is foolish and wasteful.

The removal of land from a Provincial Park and transfer to a Municipality for economic/tourism development purposes sets a dangerous precedent for other Provincial Parks. Municipal control will not guarantee continued environmental protection nor use for the benefit of public green open space. Read more

I am totally against the sale of any and all provincial conservation land. Wasaga belongs to the people.of Ontario, not Doug Ford who just wants to sell Ontario piece by piece to his real estate associates. Read more

Please do not sell the best beaches of Wasaga Beach to the wealthy. Ontario families have had the good fortune of generations enjoying Wasaga Beach. We have Lake Huron and Wasaga Beach that are good to swim in and not polluted yet. Read more

Stop trying to sell protected land to developers. You’re harming the ecosystem, including generations of people that you are supposed to protect. This will take us backwards, not forwards, as a society.
