Wasaga Beach has been in rough condition for the last decade and a half. while the wheel of fate has rotated, we reached a natural crux in development just before the last of the wake stocks and the start of the decline can be seen with the fire of the arcade. Read more

I have been a Wasaga Beach resident for over 40 years and I do not support the town gaining ownership of Beach 1 and 2. The maintenance fees to maintain it would be too costly for the taxpayers to absorb. Read more

I strongly oppose the proposal to remove any land from the provincial park system in Wasaga. This land has been protected for many years as it is a unique landscape and environmentally sensitive habitat including for piping plover birds. Read more

I totally agree with the changes that the Town of Wasaga Beach has suggested to the provincial ministries. In particular, buying Crown land to turn it into a tax-generating purpose is a win for both the town & the province. Read more

The destruction of green space for the development of land for more condos, townhomes and multi use buildings, for the purpose of getting more taxes is reprehensible. People move out of the city to avoid gridlock and over population of areas, yet it seems that doesn't matter. Read more

I am glad Wasaga is getting some development. However, I do hope that there is a clear understanding that they need to maintain protection of the Piping Plover nesting areas. The provincial park does an excellent job of it now. Read more

I have concerns about this proposal, specifically how it affects Ontario piping plover habitat. These beautiful birds are already an endangered species, and this proposal puts a very important nesting area for them in danger. Read more

We must protect the Piping Plovers at Wasago Beach! The Towns answer to this protection is a new beach grooming machine!!!!!!! All the years of dedication by Parks Canada and the local volunteers is to be lost! .
