Hasn’t this government done enough to try and steal lands away from conservation and line the pockets of friends of Fords? This government lets the people of Ontario down over and over again. Well except those who line Doug Fords pockets. Despicable.

Please don’t do this. These parks are small enough fragments of what used to be here and we need ALL of it left for future generations. Stop taking park land to build housing on.

I strongly oppose provincial parks being reduced. I do not want beautiful natural parks to be "revitilized" so that an already busy municipality and associated businesses can have even greater profit. Read more

I as a Canadian citizen and Ontario resident do not approve of these amendments as they want to gain more control that is needed. Leave the park to be an uninterrupted provincial park. I went to this beach many times when younger. Read more

As a Wasga Beach resident i do not support the removal of any land from Wasaga Beach Provicial Park. Protecting green space from development is important in maintaining the natural beauty of Wasaga for residence and visitors.

We need more environmental protections, not less. Provincial parks are so important to this province, and we can’t hand over this land to developers who will destroy this land that can never be returned. I fully oppose this proposed amendment. Ontario is not for sale. Read more

This is outrageous. These are our cherished national treasures that we all can enjoy, not just the weathly that purchase the land. We must keep our national parks available for everyone to enjoy and benefit from.

Ontarios Provincial Parks were created as a place for generations of Canadians to enjoy and should remain untouched indefinitely. There is no excuse (other than sheer greed) that would justify gutting our provincial parks. Read more

This land is not the Ford government’s to sell away. This land is precious and there is no development that could offset the damage that will come to the living beings that depend on what’s left of the ecosystem in that area. Read more

While I appreciate the housing puzzle, none of it will matter if we don’t also protect the habitats that house our most vulnerable wildlife. Selling off vulnerable land for profit is not the answer. Read more

Why would we be selling off more land to developers when this sweeps away more and more endangered species and takes away from wasaga’s heritage. I don’t understand. Read more

I am against this. This can risk habitat for the piping plover. The land should continue to be owned and maintained by Ontario provincial parks, so it remains a conserved green space and public accessible beach.
