Wasaga Beach Provincial Park should continue to be protected land that can be enjoyed by the public. Please do not sell of any part of this land to developers.
Please do not sell off our precious land. This will only lead to future damage and distruction. The land sustains us and protects us from harm. The long-term damage will harm future generations.
I have owned cottages for over 30 years and am utterly disgusted in the maintenance of our beach. The beach is overgrown with weeds and there is garbage all over. The town uses the excuse that it’s not responsible for the mess.

I disagree with this proposal, as more of our land and natural areas are used up for “ economic growth “ we need these protected parks and areas to remain. A place for nature and biodiversity to remain in take and for people to be able to disconnect from the ever growing fast paced world.

How dare the conservative government take lands from the people of Ontario. These lands are protected for a reason. Doug Ford, I wish we could just take your cottage because that is the same as taking these lands from the people. Horrific and idiotic.

Wasaga beach needs to stay a public beach and area. There is already so much development in wasaga that it is a shame they took down the stores and waterslides. Keep wasaga accessible to all….
I am completely against provincial park land being given to a municipality. Wasaga beach has important environmental land that needs to mean safeguarded for future generations. It’s home to important ecological niches that need to be protected. We cannot afford to lose more land to human uses.
