I agree wholeheartedly that the proposal to redevelop this site on James St. N in Hamilton should go ahead as soon as possible. We need more housing for low income people, as well as others, and this area has been sitting derelict and vacant for far too long! Read more

It is unbelievable this land has sat unused and ugly for so very long, while the neighbourhood is overwhelmed with encampments. The change is from one type of social housing to another, more modern development that is consistent with Hamilton's needs for housing. Read more

Dear Friends, I live within one block of the proposed Jamesville Development in Hamilton. I am categorically against the proposal which has been sent to the Ministry by the City of Hamilton which proposes a higher population density and a 20, rather than a 12, story tall high-rise. Read more

It is a site that has sat abandoned for too long. With a housing crisis in Hamilton, please expedite this process to allow more housing opportunities. The location is ideal for a new residential development as it is near schools, recreation and shopping.
