While I am not a fan of MZOs pushing through change without due process, I am in agreement with proceeding with this residential project. People were evicted years ago. With the current lack of housing in Hamilton, I believe this project should proceed as soon as possible. Thank you

My husband and I are very frustrated with the lack of progress on the Jamesville development. It is imperative to get affordable housing built as soon as possible to assist our community in obtaining proper housing for our low income neighbours to help prevent even more homelessness
I strongly support the proposal to speed up the development of the Jamesville project. The evacuation of the prior tenants has exacerbated the housing crisis in Hamilton. Yet here is a ready partial solution to our housing crisis.

Through multiple meetings CN has not provided good reasons for the delay and has not moved this forward in good faith towards a solution. There is other housing already nearby already subject to the same conditions.

I am in full support of the jamesville development. This housing is desperately needed. Possibly CN would be granted relief from any future noise or odour claims. Obviously competing rights but please err on expediting the housing.
I support the city and province moving immediately to clear the way for new housing at the Jamesville site. The project being stalled this long is the worst kind of bureaucracy.

It is very important for the City of Hamilton to get this MZO passed so that we can get these affordable houses built. The housing complex was there as was the CN rail, what could be the difference now that CN is stalling the building of these much needed homes.

Please do not develop these lands with increased density. Let the rails run how they need to. I rely on that train to run on time every day. I can not deal with disruptions or I could lose my job. Thank you

At first, disgust. What was this gigantic, vacant, graffiti-ridden eyesore doing in the neighbourhood I hope to raise a child?
