Firstly, why was the James street complex closed. If people lived there before it was closed why does it need a a soil remediation program to prepare the site for development and how much will this cost? ( Tiny homes soil remedy cost millions.) Read more

I think the development is necessary and needs to move forward as soon as possible. I do not understand how CN Rail could have an issue with it considering how much development there already is in the area. What makes Jamesville so “special” that they insist on trying to block the development. Read more

I would like to provide my support for the MZO of the Jamesville North redevelopment in Hamilton. It's my belief that the CN Rail objection is not in good faith as there are many houses along that rail line and several along the rail yard. Read more

Please, please, use whatever fair and just means to amend legislation to make this Jamesville area into mixed - mostly affordable housing. It is such an eyesore to see people without homes sleeping on the street while this property sits vacant. Read more

I would love to see the site be developed, it's just sitting there, falling apart, looking disgusting! Hamilton needs affordable housing now. The CN Rail has too much power when it comes to building proposals. Their appeal isn't helping, it's hurting! Read more
