- Protect evidence-based conservation. Scientific findings should NOT be politically vetoed. - Do NOT narrow the definition of ‘habitat,’ recovery depends on future restoration zones. - Bring back mandatory recovery plans! Species need long-term strategies, not short-term fixes. Read more

There must be NO DELISTING of any species currently listed under O. Reg. 230/08: Species at Risk in Ontario List... . Frankly, there should NOT be any changes at all to Ontario's Endangered Species Act, 2007. Read more

I have significant concerns respecting the proposed regulations implementing the Species Conservation Act. Measures to protect species at risk should not be considered 'red tape' that get in the way of economic development. Read more

I am in favour of economic development, intensification of downtown cores, ensuring livable cities, and speeding up housing development in Ontario. However, all of this MUST be done responsibly and with the safety and security of future generations in mind. Read more

This is absolutely shameful. At a time when nature is in crisis and nearing the brink of collapse, we need to be protecting MORE species, not less. I do not support this legislation, and think that delisting hundreds of native species from the SARO list will be an absolute tragedy in the long run. Read more
