I object to the amendments stated in this proposal, as the safety of biodiversity should not be compromised for the sake of economic gain. We should keep our number of protected species stable, perhaps even increase it. Read more

There’s so many amazing things every individual species has to offer the planet. The monarchs will surely be wiped off the face of the earth if we let this pass. The bees are already almost lost. Soon we won’t have any crops at all. Read more

Please protect our endangered species so that generations to come can still enjoy and experience nature. We should live in a society that prioritizes nature and quality of life, not an economy that sacrifices our ecosystem at all cost. Please repeal Bill 56.

I vehemently oppose these changes. We need to restore protections for nature, which ultimately protects all Canadians, our future, and will keep Canada on the right side of history when it comes to Climate Change. REPEAL BILL 5!!!

These amendments are fundamentaly WRONG for the well being, conservation and sustainability of wildlife in this province and the environments in which they reside. This will create irreversible changes that morally we cannot do!

I oppose this bill strongly. This new system would not be adequate for conservation, and would essentially be removing protections for dozens of species. This would be a highly detrimental action and would not be beneficial, especially in the long term.

I oppose Bill 5 and I demand that environmental protections be reinstated. As an Ontaio resident I demand accountability from this government. This Bill is outrageous and should never have been allowed to pass. We need to protect our natural habitats and species for generations to come!

I do not recognize the government of Ontario leadership anymore. I used to live in a province where wildlife and vulnerable species were protected, but now it all comes down to how the province can make money. Read more

Have you heard of the Red-headed Woodpecker? What about the Peregrine Falcon? You must have seen a Monarch Butterfly or a Snapping Turtle? These are only 4 of the 106 species who you are proposing should be removed from the species at risk list. Read more
