Massasaugas are as important as every single other naturally occurring species in their ecosystem. Preservation of ecosystems, as intact as possible should be the overall target, and prevention of the disappearance of this particular species is paramount in southern Ontario. Read more

The Eastern Massasaga rattle snake in the Windsor Essex area is in extreme peril. I believe a captive breeding program to help bring thier numbers from approximately a dozen to less critical numbers is imperative. Read more

I am concerned with the carolinian population of eastern massasaugas. They have been imperiled for decades and have been steadily declining for the past century. Despite this though, it seems as though the government has done nothing whatsoever to stem the decline. Read more
