Please! NO to Bill 5. We are the guardians of the green space. So much damage has been done when we didn’t know better, now we do. We must only allow growth that restricts environmental and ecological damage. We won’t be able to undo it. Read more

I oppose bill 5. I want stronger environmental protections and the protection of endangered species. I oppose shortcuts for industry. I oppose overriding the law in special economic zones.

Ummm why would you kill Mother Nature and the youth by not having a restoration plan? Also why do you need to keep building? Think about what your doing and don’t make it about the money because we have people starving on the streets of Toronto and you don’t care. Read more

This bill is just another way for the government to circumvent red tape and fill fields and wetlands with houses and roadways. We need to protect our land and endangered species at all costs. Build cities up not outward and leave our Greenspan.

Endangered species need to be protected in order to maintain the biodiversity that ecosystems depend on to not just survive but thrive. With climate change ramping up as ocean temperatures raise our varied ecosystems across Ontario face many challenges. Read more
