I oppose bill 5. I do not want shortcuts for developers that put species at risk in danger. I want continued oversight of activities which could have negative impacts on these species and their habitats, migratory routes, hunting/foraging areas and breeding grounds. Read more

Please do not move forward with this bill. Economic growth at the cost of our vital ecosystems will end up costing us more in the end. Our economy exists within the bounds of nature. Remember to think about the sustained functioning of both the economy and the environment. Read more

Scrapping bills that protect people, land and wildlife is not what Canadians want. It’s what business and development wants. These laws are in place for a reason. If you want to build infrastructure and do development deals, go about it the right way like everyone else. Read more

Some mistakes can't be undone. We've already gutted the funding & protections for the environment in our province in the last few years. This legislation would put a nail in our shared cultural heritage in this province as a monument to our eternal shame. Read more
