As a young archaeologist, I oppose Bill 5 and the proposed amendments to the Ontario Heritage Act. These changes would eviscerate not only the industry, but also the progress made towards Truth and Reconciliation in regards to First Nations peoples. Read more

My concern with this proposal is how it affects the Ontario Heritage Act. I understand the need for development to build housing and infrastructure but Ontario is a place where this should be done correctly with minimal impact to archaeology. Read more
