Have impacts on surrounding water table, wells and local watersheds and waterways and Great Lakes been considered? Appears likely to have an extremely detrimental impact on local community users and natural environment. Same story as the mega quarry in the Shelburne Headswaters region years ago.

How is it even possible that a Category 3 permit can proceed without full notification to landowners that will be impacted and without a public process? Water is a semi-renewable resource. We cannot take at will, without proper controls and expect it to renew itself. Read more

We are in a climate crisis which means water is now more than ever a precious resource that needs to be protected. The severity of weather in the years ahead is not known and extreme caution is required with our watersheds. Please say NO to this water taking permit
