Please do not allow the proponent to be responsible for their own water quality monitoring program. A good 3rd party, proponent funded should be a condition of this project. This would eliminate a layer of perceived bias and avoid any concerns for sampling tampering.

I can see this becoming a lawsuit down the road , so I hope a little more consideration us taken yo protect the people's rights and there must be other options . This world needs to preserve what we have before it is lost.
I believe my right to fair, public consultation was violated closing the comment deadline without the Environmental Impact Assessment and Species at Risk study being available for review.

We live on this river. We swim, fish and kayak. Our well water is sourced from this river. Please reject this application. Do not allow effluent waste to be introduced to the Goulais River.
